This page explains what happens to data when you visit kaly.studio. It covers the two things this site actually does: it shows videos, and it shows advertising. Short version: nothing is collected until you press play or accept ads, and there is no account, no newsletter and no analytics of our own.

Who runs this site

What the server logs

Like every web server, the host records technical data when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser's user agent, and the referring page. This is necessary to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. It is not linked to any person and is not combined with other data.

Videos: YouTube

Episodes are hosted on YouTube. The page shows only a thumbnail image until you actively start a video. Only then is an embedded player loaded, and only then does YouTube set cookies or process data.

Embeds use youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Even so, once a video plays, Google LLC may process data such as your IP address, browser details and playback behaviour. Google acts as an independent controller for this. See Google's privacy policy.

Thumbnail images are loaded from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com), which means your IP address is transmitted to Google when the page loads, even without playing a video.

Advertising: Google AdSense

This site is financed by advertising delivered through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance, and — where you have consented — personalise ads based on your interests.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no social plugins. Cookies can come from two places only: YouTube (after you start a video) and Google AdSense (subject to your consent choice).

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Swiss Data Protection Act you may request information about, correction of, or deletion of personal data relating to you, and you may object to processing. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Changes

If the way this site handles data changes — for example if analytics are added — this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
